חוקר את עצמי ואת העולם הנגלה והנעלם. מאמין בעשייה מתוך תשוקה, התפתחות מתמדת ולמידה אינסופית. עד למחשבותיי ומאמין בנצח. כל הקיים הוא אתה - נקודת תודעה חסרת מימדים, כאן ועכשיו. ההפרדה היא אשליה והמסע אינסופי. הנתינה היא קבלה והבריאה היא אהבה.
היצירות מאופיינות בסגנון עכשווי המשלב בין טכניקות ציור ורישום קלאסיות לבין טכניקות הדפסה עכשויות. היצירות צבעוניות רב שכבתיות עם שקיפויות היוצרות דיאלוג בין השכבות השונות של היצירה. סגנון העבודות משלב בין מיקס מדיה, קולאג', בינה מלאכותית, ציור, רישום, פיסול, צילום, רדי מייד, קינטיקה, וידאו, הדפסות על גבי חומרים שונים כגון: מתכת, עץ, בד, זכוכית, אקריל, קרמיקה ועוד.
השילוב בין סוגי הטכניקות והשקיפויות בין שכבות החומרים השונים מקנה ליצירות מראה רב מימדי ורב שכבתי הנע בין ציור לפיסול.
אופק ורטמן
אמן יוצר, מעצב, אנימטור ויזם. דור שני למשפחת אמנים, ציירים וכותבים (הצייר ישראל ורטמן
והמשוררת רחל ורטמן). למד בתיכון לאמנויות .ויצו קנדה חיפה במגמת תכשיטנות ואמנות (1986-1989) בשנת 1993 התקבל ללימודים במחלקה לאמנות באונבירסיטת חיפה אך החליט שלא להתחיל בלימודים. לאחר שנה (1994) התקבל ללימודים במחלקה לתקשורת חזותית במרכז האקדמי ויצו חיפה. לאחר סיום לימודיו בשנת 1998 נמשך לתחום הוידאו והאנימציה הממוחשבת והחל לעסוק בתחום בצורה מקצועית, לאחר שרכש ידע ולמד באופן עצמאי את התוכנות הרלוונטיות לתחום. במשך שש שנים עבד בבתי פוסט פרודקשן שונים בת"א, כאנימטור בחברת סיידאפקט, ארטדיירקטור מעצב ואנימטור ראשי בחברת האנימציה של אולפני מימד - צפלין מימד אנימיישן ובחברת הוט ויז'ן. כמעצב ואנימטור יצר פתיחים לתכניות טלוויזיה, פרומואים, לוגואים ואריזות, גרפיות לערוצי טלוויזיה המובילים בישראל. במקביל לתקופה זו החל לצייר, ליצור עבודות וידאו ארט וכרזות גרפיות ולהציגן בגלריות ובפסטיבלים בישראל ובעולם. הגעגוע ליצירה חומרית ולעבודה מוחשית עם הידיים הכריע. משנת 2006 בעל סטודיו לעיצוב וייצור מוצרים בתל אביב.

About Me
"I Am That I Am"
All in everything and everything in all
Exploring myself and the world—both seen and unseen. I believe in creating with passion, constant growth, and infinite learning. I am aware of my thoughts and believe in eternity. All that exists is you—an infinite-dimensional point of consciousness, here and now. Separation is an illusion, and the journey is endless. Giving is receiving, and creation is love
My works are characterized by a contemporary style that blends classic painting and drawing techniques with modern printing methods. The artworks are multilayered, colorful, and feature transparencies that create a dialogue between different layers of the piece. My artistic style combines mixed media, collage, artificial intelligence, painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, ready-made art, kinetics, video, and prints on various materials such as metal, wood, fabric, glass, acrylic, ceramics, and more. The fusion of techniques and the interplay of transparencies between different material layers give the pieces a multidimensional and multilayered appearance, oscillating between painting and sculpture
I am a multidisciplinary artist, designer, animator, and entrepreneur. I come from a family of artists, painters, and writers—the painter Israel Wertman and the poet Rachel Wertman. I studied at the WIZO Canada High School of Arts in Haifa, majoring in jewelry design and fine arts (1986–1989). In 1993, I was accepted to the Art Department at the University of Haifa but chose not to begin my studies. A year later (1994), I was accepted into the Visual Communication Department at the WIZO Haifa Academy of Design
After graduating in 1998, I was drawn to the field of video and computer animation, immersing myself in it professionally through self-learning and mastering the necessary software. Over six years, I worked in various post-production studios in Tel Aviv, as an animator at Side Effect, an art director and lead animator at Zeppelin Mimad Animation Studios, and at HOT Vision. As a designer and animator, I created TV show openings, promos, logos, and graphic packaging for leading Israeli television channels
During this period, I also began painting, creating video art, and designing graphic posters, which I exhibited in galleries and festivals in Israel and worldwide. The longing for material creation and hands-on work eventually took over. Since 2006, I have owned a design and product manufacturing studio in Tel Aviv
